Mabledon

The restoration proposals for Mabledon Properties evolved from a detailed assessment of the history of the house and gardens. They include infilling a more recent quarry after winning the currently unavailable Tunbridge Wells sandstone for repairs and new buildings and replacement of recent outbuildings with a new block of flats. The gardens will be restored to their original picturesque design.

Shepperton Film Studios

The studios are in the grounds of an old mansion and research into the history of the gardens of the original mansion house was required for a new development, to ensure that no significant historic features were lost.

Brogdale

The recreation of historic gardens with authentic designs and features shows the development of ideas and reflects the cultural values of time. A series of some twenty international gardens is being developed to show the cultivation of fruit developed in gardens over the last thousand years and varieties we developed for local climates and soils. This is part of a major visitor development around the National Fruit Collection for Brogdale Collections, where Tom is a Trustee.
